The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently detained the former governor of Kaduna State, Ramalan Yero. He has being on investigation by the EFCC since 2016, over the disbursement of the N750 million PDP campaign fund before the 2015 general election.
Ramalan, Haruna Gaiya a former PDP chairman in the state a former Minister of State for Power, Nuhu Way; and the former Secretary to Kaduna State government, and Hamza Ishaq, have been under investigation by EFCC since 2016, for the role they played in the disbursement of the N750 million PDP campaign fund before the 2015 general election.
According to Kamaludeen Gebi, Kaduna zonal spokesman of the EFCC, — former governor and the three others was to be arraigned at a Federal high court sitting in Kaduna on Yesterday on charges bordering on money laundering, criminal conspiracy, misappropriation of public funds among others.
