The chief executive officer of FourScore Heights Limited, Femi Osibona, said God instructed him to move to Nigeria.

Osibona, in an interview TVC Business published on August 6, highlighted his journey from Nigeria to Europe and South Africa and how God told him to relocate to Nigeria in 2008.

Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) general manager, Gbolahan Oki, told reporters at the scene of the tragedy that the contractor was

“He got approval for a 15-storey building and he exceeded his limit. I am on the ground here and the materials he used are so inferior and terrible.

“The materials he used, the reinforcement, are so terrible. He got approval for 15 floors but built 21,” Oki told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The Managing Director, Prowess Engineering Limited, Muritala Olawale, in a letter to Osibona on February 20, 2020, warned Osibona that the building was problematic.

The consulting agency, according to the letter, pulled out of the project after his warning apparently fell on deaf ears.
