There was news a while ago about how Guaranty Trust Bank obtained approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to reorganise the bank into a financial holding company. This also led to the listing of their share capital. The unveiling of the bank’s new brand logo was done by the group chief executive officer, Segun Agbaje, a few weeks ago.
Whenever there is a rebranding of a bank, some Nigerians always show some sort of fear about their money in such a bank, with the belief that the bank is bankrupt.
