Most people waited patiently to know whether or not the gay law will be legalized in Nigeria after Joe Biden's recommend it to our government.
Joe Biden, who advised and directed all U. S. diplomats in their respective host countries to force through and legalize gay rights, has also threatened to prosecute nations that fail to comply with gay legislation.
The former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, was once asked to offer his point of view on gay laws. This occurred after a gay couple in Malawi were both sentenced some years ago to 14 years in jail with hard labour.
Obasanjo maintained that countries have the right to implement their own laws when he was asked this issue. He gave his candid view and articulated himself by referring to how man was originally made. He said that if men were to fall in love with men, and women were to fall in love with women, then the two genders would not be created by Almighty God. He said it' s an " abomination" so to recognize it as a Christian is bad.
By raising a question that left people shocked, he questioned adults privacy in their homes. " Can you make love to a horse because it' s he or her privacy? Then, majority of people replied his question by saying that someone whose privacy is to do a condemnable act does not deserve privacy at all.
Below are all what Obasanjo said, concerning legalizing gay in Nigeria
This are the suggestion made by Obasanjo on whether or not to legalize gay people in Nigeria. The Nigerian government is now left to decide whether or not to legalize gays.
But me as a citizen of this country, If Nigeria fails to legalize it, Nigeria may loose some benefit including US Aid, imports from the United States and so on.
You as a Nigerian, What are your thoughts and reactions to this? Do you endorse the legalisation of the law or not?
