NIGERIAN ATHLETE, BLESSING OKAGBARE, BROKE THE AFRICAN RECORD OF 22.07 SECS IN WOMEN 200M RACE

The 26-year-old Nigerian athlete, Blessing Okagbare, over the weekend shattered a 22-year-old 200m African record previously held by her compatriot, Mary Onyali.

Okagbare broke the African Record of 22.07secs in the women 200m when she ran a new Personal Best and also a new African record of 22.04secs (+0.5) at the Wes Kittley Invitational Track & Field, Abilene Christian University.
