Popular The British actor, 45, Idris Elba is engaged to be married to his partner Sabrina Dhowre he proposed in a cinema in London on Saturday morning.
He got down on one knee in front of friends and colleagues at a screening of his new film Yardie - and everyone in the audience cheered as she said yes.
Rio Cinema in Dalston, which was hosting the screening, confirmed the happy news on Twitter with a picture of Idris grinning.
"Another riocinema first! Still 5 days to Valentines Day but idriselba went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend live on stage this morning before a preview of his film Yardie, " so they tweeted.

"She said yes and there was much clapping and cheering."
Witnesses who saw the special moment took to Twitter to share what they'd seen.
"At cast & crew screening of YARDIES & Idris Elba just proposed to his girlfriend Sabrina!! Big Congrats !!" wrote one.
"At cast & crew screening of @YARDIES & @IdrisElba just proposed to his girlfriend Sabrina!! Big Congrats to you both!!" said another.
A third posted: "At cast & crew screening of @YARDIES & @IdrisElba just proposed to his girlfriend Sabrina!! Too cute."
Idris and Sabrina, 29, met in 2017 in Canada, where he was filming The Mountain Between Us.
"He fell in love while making a movie about falling in love, that's pretty special," he said of the Somali model and former Miss Vancouver.
She will become stepmother to his 15-year-old daughter Isan with first wife Hanne 'Kim' Norgaard, who he was married to between 1999 and 2003, and to his three-year-old son Winston with makeup artist Naiyana Garth.
The Wire and Luther star has had something of a rocky love life before meeting Sabrina, and was accused of walking out on his second marriage to lawyer Sonya Hamlin just six months after they tied the knot. Hmmmmmm.
