The Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike said he is now a Muslim. Although his statment is yet to be confirmed he wasn't Kidding or pulling anyone's legs.
He was asked by his coach Vitor Pereira why he didn’t show up for breakfast on Saturday when others did and Emenike replied saying “I’m fasting.”
According to Turkish daily Fanatik, the coach queried him and said he is not a Muslim. “You’re not a Muslim”, Pereira said, insisting that Emenike is a Christian. But in his response, Emenike said “I became a Muslim, I am a Muslim,” he continued to claim. We are however not sure of his comments, Maybe it was just a lousy comment or not.
