Wike while speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Sunday noted that the security forces that invaded Justice Odili’ s home was an assassination attempt.
He accused the Federal Government while emphasizing that if anything happens to Odili’ s family, they will be held responsible.
According to the governor, he claimed that series of events has revealed that the Odili family is being targeted.
His statement reads: ” We are informing the world that if anything happens to Dr. Peter Odili’ s family, the Federal Government should be held responsible because they have proved that there is something they are about carrying out. ”
” The Federal Government should be held responsible if anything happens to my Lord, Justice Mary Odili, her husband, and their children. ”
” That is the Rivers State government’ s and people’ s viewpoint because enough is enough! ”
” I believe it is an effort to assassinate Justice Mary Odili, her husband, and family members since there are no other options. ”
” And if they’ d been successful, all that the federal government would have said is that we’ d get to the root of the matter. That’ s how they normally said. Then, in a week or two, everybody will be quiet.
” But this will not be the same because this is an assassination attempt. ”
