They eventually broke into our house by pulling down the doors and windows. I quickly hid our children under the bed, but they attacked my husband with cutlasses, and they burnt down his school. I called for help after they left because my husband was in the pool of his blood. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.”

_Speaking about her father’s demise, Victoria said, “I don’t know what to say. I felt like running mad after seeing what the assailants did to my father. My father loved me.”

Shuaibu’s Vice, Markus Kaza, said, “The killing of our leader is a great loss to us. We urge the government to help put a stop to such occurrences and protect us here.”
