The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has filed a petition against Kenya's Interior CS, Director of Immigration and Director of Criminal Investigations at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
According to him, he relinquished his Nigerian citizenship in 2015 and is now a British citizen.
The petition argues that his extradition from Kenya to Nigeria in June violated the Extradition (Contiguous and Foreign Countries) Act Chapter 76 of the laws of Kenya.
