Former media aide to Kano state governor, Salihu Tanko Yakasai a.k.a Dawisu, has reacted to the fracas between the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike, over rights to collect Value Added Tax (VAT).
Taken to his verified twitter page, the former freelance reporter at CNN err his opinion on the VAT issue saying any northerner not in support of Nyesom Wike and Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s stand on the VAT issue, does not mean swell for his people and region.
Dawisu made this statement following report that norhthern governors are prevailing on Governor Wike and Sanwo-Olu to back down on the court case against FIRS on VAT issue.
