Nigerian renowned businessman and philanthropist, Obinna Iyiegbu , popularly known as Obi Cubana has appreciated a young pencil artist who made a stunning portrait of him.
Mr Cubana, who shared this via his Instagram page identified the young man as Olajide Oluwamayowa Peter , aka Mayor Artz , who’s 19 years of age.
Obi was amazed at this art created by the young Ibadan-native, who according to the businessman, travel all the way from Ibadan with his mom to deliver the masterpiece to him in Lagos.
Describing his skill, Mr Iyiegbu termed the artist one of the raw talents Nigeria has been blessed with, adding that he’s such a focused and talented young man.
Obi also revealed that Mayor Artz made the portrait in 50 hours which is about three days. He beckoned on his Instagram followers to follow and support the young artist through his page, @mayor_artz.
He wrote: “Nigeria is blessed with RAW TALENTS! This 19yr old boy Olajide Oluwamayowa Peter’s artworks caught my attention on ig. @mayor_artz
