Report has emerged that Major Stephen Datong who was abducted by gunmen from the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, at Afaka, Kaduna State was found dead.
Bandits had stormed the academy in the early hours of Tuesday leaving two military officers, Lieutenant Commander Wulah and Flight Lieutenant Okoronkwo dead in their wake and kidnapped Major Datong.
Latest report said Dalong has been found dead suggesting his abductors killed him.
However report still has it that the bandits have reached out to the military authorities demanding N200m ransom.
The military is yet to confirm or deny his purported killing and the said ransom.
