A Facebook user, Abubakar Ibrahim shared photos of the bodies of those killed.
At least eleven people have been reportedly killed by bandits in Dan-Kumeji village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
It was gathered that six persons who sustained injuries in the attack are currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
A resident, Abdulmumini Sani, who confirmed the incident in a telephone interview with Daily Trust, said the attackers stormed the village around 11:30pm on Thursday, August 26, and started shooting sporadically.
