Lauretta Onochie, a close adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari, is expected to be nominated as INEC' s national commissioner.
Aisha Yesufu, who is a member of the All Progressive Congress, has reacted to this by saying that granting her such a sensitive assignment is improper because she is a member of the APC.
She went on to suggest that if such an appointment is permitted, Nigerians should anticipate Garba Shehu to be appointed Chairman of the INEC.
