The Anambra State Police Command have arrested a man identified as Ejike Kanu, 33, for allegedly rapping his neighbour’s 7-year-old daughter, in Umuobom street, Okpoko area of the state.
According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed, the suspect allegedly lured the victim and had unlawful carnal knowledge with her inside his wife's shop.
Haruna said the suspect has voluntarily confessed and attributes his act to devil's influence. While the victim has been taken to the hospital.
