Anambra woman sells baby to raise money for Christmas
Southern City News learnt on Tuesday that Mba took the decision in a bid to raise money to celebrate this year’s Chrismas, which is three months away.
A source, who pleaded anonymity, told Southern City News on Tuesday that the woman was boasting about how she would have a fun-filled Christmas this year, before she was arrested.
“We were together one Sunday and she was boasting about how she would celebrate this year’s Christmas in grand style.
“I told her that it was too early to plan for Christmas now, but she kept on boasting and saying she would want to have fun during the season. I didn’t know she was planning to sell her own child. This is terrible,” the source stated.
