The suspect who had slept for 24 hours since after his arrest at the scene of the operation, was said to have taken a large quantity of a drug suspected to be Tramadol.
The state police Relations Officer, Femi Joseph, explained that the suspect and his gang members invaded a pharmacy store in Owo to kidnap the owner of the store, before he fell asleep.
The three-man-gang invaded the store with a gun with the intention to kidnap the owner of the store, but he raised an alarm and escaped through the back door.
According to Ondo PPRO, the armed men came out of the shop only to meet one of the customer who was on his way to buy drugs and they seized his motorcycle at gunpoint.
