A student has been apprehended as she steals money from her mothers bank account and lavishly spends it on her boyfriend.
Cynthia Cherop a student of Eldoret based moi university in kenya, has confessed to have stolen SH70,000 from her moms account, which she said she entirely spent it on her boyfriend
She was pleaded guilty to stealing money from Barclays and national banks and spending it with her lover Josephat Ng’ang’a.
Barclays bank CCTV captured the duo leaving the bank after withdrawing some part of the money. The boyfriend even threatened the mother Milka Chibosisi Sitati, if she mentioned it to anyone
State Prosecutor Solomon Naulikha, asked the court to treat the accused as a first offender and give her probation. In the meantime the magistrate has directed that a probation report be brought forward.
