498 cartons of codeine syrup has been reportedly seized by Nigeria Customs
The Nigeria Customs Command in Lagos impounded an Iveco truck that contains 498 cartons of Codeine Cough Syrup of 100 milligrams worth N199.2 million.
The Nigeria Customs Command in Lagos impounded an Iveco truck that contains 498 cartons of Codeine Cough Syrup of 100 milligrams worth N199.2 million.
The consignment, which was manufactured in the United Kingdom and contains 200 bottles in each carton, was intercepted along the Ijebu Ode-Ore road last week.
According to the controller, Federal Operations Unit, Zone A, Lagos, Mohammed Uba, two suspects were also arrested and detained in a Customs cell for further investigation.
