SERENA WILLIAMS WITHDRAWS FROM MAY ITALIAN OPEN

Tennis star, Serena William, 23-time Grand Slam champion and four-time winner of the Rome event, in 14-20 May withdrew from the Madrid Open on Thursday, she said she need some time to prepare for her first clay season after giving birth in September.

Serena's ranking has dropped drastically from 1 to 454.
