Former Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako was detained by the EFCC officer today, the former Governor had arrived back to the country on Saturday, via a Lufthansa airline which landed in Abuja airport. According to news, after the Governor was impeached last year, the commission had declared him and his son wanted for fraudulent activities which took place while he was on sit as a governor, but Nyako said, his declaration was political and had fled the country.
According to source, Nyako only returned on Saturday because Buhari is now the New President, and that he was summoned, He however reported himself at the commission’s office today, 1st June, 2015 And has been detained earlier today.
