Minister of Finance Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala disclosed yesterday that she was diagnosed with cancer some years back and had her last surgery for it 15 years ago.
She also spoke about her experience at the Service of Songs for late Special Adviser to the President on Research and Documentation.
Oronto Douglas yesterday April 30th. According to the Minister, she constantly use her experience to encourage Oronto during his battle with the disease which led to his death on April 9th.
"Oronto and I had two similarities in life, we both had cancer. I had my last surgery 15 years ago and I shared my experience with him,” she said.
She didnt menson the type of cancer she had.
