According to Indonesian media, Simon, was currently serving a 20 year jail term for offenses bothering on drug trafficking, was found guilty of running a drug cartel while in prison. He is accused to have recently engaged himself in a drug transaction that involved 350 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

His death sentence brings to 13 the number of Nigerians currently on death row in Indonesia for drug trafficking offenses.

Nigerian government has constantly appealed to the Indonesian government for clemency and prisoner exchange so that those who are on death row in Indonesia can come back home to serve jail terms rather than be executed, thus is a request the Indonesian government has failed to answer, maintaining that the Nigerians are adult enough to bear the consequences of their actions as they are aware that drug related offences in Indonesia comes with death sentences when caught.
Oh My God!!!.
